  Food was good, milkshakes were great, staff is the best part about this place. Decent comfort food (don't get the avocado sauce on anything!) But the staff makes up for it. Hand full of beers, ok liquor selection. Stayed at the motel next door.

  Terrible service and terrible food. If I could give it a zero star review, I would. It took quite some time to receive our food and when we did finally receive it, it was disgusting. The french fries smelled like they had been cooked in very old grease. They were inedible. I wonder if they ever clean their fryers. The fish sandwich smelled almost rotten and tasted like very old fish. Someone is going to get sick here. The so-called Philly beef sandwich was on a sub par hoagie roll and the meat was old, burned, and dry. It was difficult to chew the beef. Upon opening the sandwich, I discovered scorched, dry beef the texture of shoe leather. The "au jus" sauce served with it was served in a dirty, greasy bowl and it was completely flavorless, with a layer of fat floating on top. My daughter ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce, which looked and tasted like overcooked noodles with canned, stewed tomatoes. The restaurant was full of flies. It is rare for my family to complain about food, but I complained to the manager, who did not charge us for the meal after looking at our food and tasting it herself. She explained that the majority of their employees walked out the day before and she was running on a skeleton crew. Where are the owners? They need to get their act together. I'm sure that I will return to the area again in the near future, but I will not be back to Forest Cafe.

  Would never come back. Food was bad and the service was even worse. Not one employee with a smile on their face and our waitress has walked by our table 4 times without refilling our completely empty drinks much less acknowledging the fact that we exist...
